The University of the Third Age (U3A) has published a report entitled ‘Learn to Live: A blueprint for better health and wellbeing’.
The report details the value of low-cost, non-formal learning in promoting health and well-being in later life, and links these activities to improved brain health and dementia risk reduction.
The report also talks about combatting ageism and challenging misconceptions about people’s ability to learn and thrive as they age, and the need for greater recognition and targeted resources to ensure access for all communities.
