Workshop on dementia research coming to Manchester
Equadem Network Plus are hosting a free workshop on Thursday 8th October 2026 entitled ‘What is research and how to get involved?’.
The workshop is aimed at health and social care practitioners and people with dementia and carers. As part of the event, Equadem Network Plus – a national network running from 2024-2029 to bring together researchers, professionals and people with lived experience to find solutions to inequalities in dementia diagnosis and care – will share funding opportunities for health and social care practitioners to apply for 1-day a week 12-month research internships to conduct research into addressing inequalities in dementia.
