Young dementia

Young Dementia Network (YDN) members have been urged to take part in a consultation with the government on its proposed Major Conditions Strategy, a five year strategy for dementia and other conditions like cancer and mental ill-health.  YDN chair Tessa Gutteridge has written to members calling on them to participate so that young onset dementia features strongly in the strategy, which will cover England and is due to be published later this year.  The consultation closes on 27 June and can be found here www.gov.uk/government/consultations/major-conditions-strategy-call-for-evidence/major-conditions-strategy-call-for-evidence#how-to-respond.
