‘I just want to be able to dance’ report launched

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP), in partnership with Dementia Change Action Network (DCAN), has launched a report entitled ‘I just want to be able to dance’.

The report, written by Neil Crowther and Liz Leach, champions a renewed focus on wellbeing for people with dementia, highlighting connection, community, and personalised care and support as key focus areas. ‘I just want to be able to dance’ reflects conversations with people living with dementia, unpaid/family carers, academics, and people who work in care and support, and presents a vision for what’s possible alongside nine recommendations for implementing that vision.
