Resources released to help care homes use data more effectively to enhance quality of care
Resources have been released to help care homes use data more effectively to enhance the quality of care they provide.
The freely available resources – provided in easily accessible infographic form – aim to empower care providers to use resident data as a practical tool for delivering person-centred care and improving outcomes. Their creation was funded by NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) East Midlands and are based on findings from the DACHA-DASH study.
Rachael Carroll, Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, says:
“These resources give care home staff practical ways to translate data into everyday decisions, helping teams anticipate residents’ needs and tailor support more effectively.
By making data more visible and usable, we can foster a culture where information directly informs compassionate, personalised care.”
