Alzheimer’s Society explore the use of sunflower lanyards for people with dementia
The Alzheimer’s Society has explored the use of sunflower lanyards for people with dementia. The sunflower is used to highlight that someone has hidden disabilities and to indicate the person may need extra help, understanding, or just more time when they are out and about.
Alzheimer’s Society look at some of the issues associated with wearing sunflower lanyards and how to make a decision about wearing one if you are living with dementia.
