Alzheimer’s Society’s Innovation Programme announces Launchpad Cohort to tackle hospitalisation
Alzheimer’s Society has selected twelve finalists for Launchpad, an initiative that’s part of the Society’s Innovation Programme. The finalists have all proposed initiatives designed to improve quality of life, treatment, care and support for people affected by dementia, most notably by tackling some of the main issues connected to hospitalisation.
The innovators who’ve been selected – including people working on everything from digital solutions to antibacterial gummy sweets – will now work with the Alzheimer’s Society to test and validate their ideas with the support of people affected by dementia and other experts in the field.
