Four projects funded by Dementia Network Plus named

Alzheimer’s Society has partnered with the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) to support investment in four research projects under the umbrella of Dementia Network Plus.

The Projects/Networks who’ve been awarded funding are:

EMPOWER Network Plus
EQUADEM Network Plus
SPINNET Network Plus
Working with dementia Network Plus

Each network is comprised of multidisciplinary researchers, policymakers, professionals and lived experience experts. Unique to Dementia Network Plus is that each network has ‘plus funds’ which are pots of flexible funding to support smaller projects and other activities throughout the lifetime of each network award. The aim is that the ‘plus funds’ will help these networks and connections to grow further in the future.
