Fourth edition of the My Future Care Handbook published

The fourth edition of the My Future Care Handbook has been published. 

The My Future Care Handbook is an interactive publication that guides users through decisions about their wellbeing, future care, end of life and beyond. From the first edition to this latest one, it has been informed by both professionals and people with lived experience.  

Updates in the fourth edition include: 

  • A simple spreadsheet to use alongside the handbook that enables easy reviewing and updating of future plans to account for changes in circumstances or wishes. 
  • A factsheet that shares simple, practical steps on staying safe from scams, phishing and how to strengthen online security. 
  • A factsheet on after death practicalities. 
  • A factsheet that documents simple first aid and how to respond to medical emergencies, including CPR and the FAST test for strokes.
