GP practices in England invited to join social prescribing pathway feasibility study
GP practices in England are being invited to join the SPLENDID Feasibility Study, trialling a new social prescribing pathway and intervention for supporting people living with dementia.
The social prescribing pathway and intervention will give people living with dementia access to community-based support and activities to boost wellbeing and help create sustainable healthcare services.
SPLENDID (Social Prescribing for People to Live ENjoyably with Dementia/memory problems In Daily Life) is part of the SPIN-D Network Plus. The trial starts in early 2026 and a funding package and support costs are provided.
