Participants wanted for intergenerational activities online focus group
The National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) is looking for participants for an online focus group to help shape the future of intergenerational activities in care homes.
The experiences, ideas and perspectives shared during the focus group will help shape NAPA’s new National Intergenerational Engagement Standards for Care Homes (that we reported on here: https://journalofdementiacare.co.uk/programme-launched-to-develop-intergenerational-engagement-standards-for-care-homes).
NAPA say about participation:
“We welcome contributions from everyone aged 65 and over, recognising that there is no single experience of ageing. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who are often not included in research and consultation, including people from racialised communities, LGBTQ+ communities, people ageing without children or grandchildren, people living alone, people living in care homes, people living with dementia, people living with disabilities, unpaid carers, and people from a wide range of cultural, faith and socio-economic backgrounds.”
The Focus Group will be on Wednesday 13 August 2026, 11:00am-12:30pm.
