The study is exploring the impact of stigma on people living with dementia and their caregivers, how stigma influences social participation and help-seeking, and possible differences in relation to stigma and dementia between the UK and Italy.

Participants should be:

  • Living with dementia and aware of their diagnosis
  • Unpaid informal caregivers/former caregivers
  • Adults aged 65+ without cognitive impairment

Participation involves completing a short questionnaire (15–20 minutes) either online or in-person. The online version of the questionnaire is here: https://app.onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/s/liverpool/stigma-project
