Professor Gill Livingston, Professor of Psychiatry of Older People at UCL and Chief Investigator for the study, says:
“Thanks to this important research, the programme is now being used in some NHS services to support family carers. With the right kind of tailored support, family carers are more easily able to continue their important role and improve their own quality of life.”
The next START training dates are in September 2025. Find out more here: https://www.ucl.ac.uk/brain-sciences/psychiatry/our-research/mental-health-older-people/start
