A webinar is taking place on 22 February 2024 at 1pm to launch ‘Better Care Moves for Older People’. This will be a knowledge-sharing and networking event aimed at individuals working in adult social care, informal carers/families, people who use social care, researchers, and members of the public who have an interest in this topic.
The webinar is part of a project, funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research School for Social Care Research (NIHR SSCR), that aims to provide evidence-based resources for supporting older people’s moves between care settings, which are known to be significant life events for many older people and their families.
Social care researchers and professionals from the University of Kent, East Sussex County Council, UCL and partners are leading this co-production project where older people, family carers and social care practitioners and managers have been co-researchers in all stages.
