Turning the town blue

Solihull in the Midlands will be festooned with forget-me-nots to promote Dementia Action Week (15-21 May) thanks to staff at the MACC Care Group.  Crocheted forget-me-nots will decorate shop windows and volunteers have been invited to knit sections of a large blue scarf for a giant gorilla statue in the town centre. Staff from the group’s Blossomfield Rose home are pictured with their contributions (l-r): Lorraine Shannon (customer relationship manager), Sonia Tenniswood (operations manager) and Jenny Hession (activity coordinator).
