Home Instead has published ‘The New Ageing Index’, the second report documenting their ongoing examination of where the UK is on issues crucial to age and ageing.
Martin Jones MBE, Home Instead CEO UK & International, says:
“Perhaps the most fraught issue of all, particularly amid a care funding crisis, is the ever-increasing number of people living with forms of dementia – and the toll this has financially and psychologically on their loved ones. We have introduced more detailed questions around dementia for our second report. And the findings are worse than even we imagined: the picture the research reveals of hundreds of thousands of people really struggling on a daily basis is genuinely alarming.”
