‘We live with dementia’ – Dementia UK’s new awareness campaign

Dementia UK have launched a new awareness campaign aimed at families with the message: ‘If you love someone living with dementia, you’re living with it too.’

The campaign will run in the UK from January to March 2024 and highlight the practical and emotional support available to families and individuals affected by dementia, most notably from Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurses.

To augment this campaign, Dementia UK have updated their free ‘Living with Dementia’ guide, which was downloaded over 39,000 times in 2023, and launched brand new ‘bite-size guides’ covering specific topics including young onset dementia, how to get a diagnosis and a guide to ‘who’s who’ in dementia care.
