Free membership to the Song Therapy Network available

The Song Therapy Network, an informal community of singers, instrumental musicians, music teachers and activity providers working in different community settings, is urging more practitioners to join their network.

Co-founded by Nigel Neill in 2019, the community has 200+ members and can be joined for free. The Song Therapy Network also offer an independent leadership qualification via distance learning.

Nigel Neill says of the Song Therapy Network:

“It’s important we understand that our human gentle soft skills are right at the heart of what we offer. Popular familiar music is also really important to help people relax and feel connected with others.

Our Song Therapy movement is actively engaged in ensuring the increasing availability of skilled creative leaders to fulfil an ever-growing need. Many of our members work independently in challenging circumstances bringing joy through their informal music groups to so many facing up to difficult times. It’s our job to encourage them and to offer them support with their important work.”
