Dementia Carers Count share film about financial support for carers
Dementia Carers Count (DCC) has shared a film about financial support for carers.
The film features Jack Gillis, DCC’s Advice and Advocacy Manager, explaining what benefits carers are entitled to and how to apply for support.
Jack says:
“It is important to get advice early as we can help you to understand the benefits support that is available and give you advice on how to get help with the costs of care from your local authority. You might be surprised at what you’re entitled to, especially as some claims can be backdated.”
