People with lived experience of dementia and hearing loss wanted for research project

The Association for Dementia Studies at the University of Worcester are seeking people living with dementia and hearing loss to help shape a new research project.

The project, entitled ‘Turn Down the Noise’, will explore how noise, hearing aids, and staff support in community social care settings affect everyday life for people living with dementia and hearing loss.

The researchers working on this project are currently inviting people to join their Public and Community Involvement and Engagement (PCIE) group, which will help inform and guide the development of the research.

Information about what involvement in this project would entail can be found here: https://adsdementiablog.wordpress.com/2026/04/30/help-us-turn-down-the-noise/

For any further questions or to register your interest in joining the PCIE group, please contact Ruby Swift by email: r.swift@worc.ac.uk or phone: 01905 542637
