Alzheimer’s Research UK launch report on UK leadership in dementia research
Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) has launched a report entitled: ‘Ready for the Cure: A blueprint for UK leadership in dementia research.’
The report looks at the action needed to build on progress to date in dementia research and how to continue to grow the UK’s reputation in this area. The report details three priorities for the UK government:
- Set a clear national ambition for dementia research and innovation
- Build a nationally coordinated, trial-ready system
- Make the NHS a faster adopter of dementia innovation
