Woking’s Bernard Sunley care home, run by charity Friends for the Elderly, has been taking residents on a virtual round-the-world “cruise” complete with cultural experiences appropriate to each destination. Among those “aboard” HMS Bernard Sunley are (pictured) Brian Moore with an appetising Mediterranean cocktail and Rose Simmons with some Spanish souvenirs. “Our cruise passengers have had a lovely year visiting a vast array of international countries and learning about different cultures and civilisations,” said manager Andy Cumper.
