Chief Medical Officer’s report 2025 published
The Chief Medical Officer’s Annual Report for 2025 has been published, this year focusing on infections.
In his report, Prof. Chris Whitty, Chief Medical Officer for England, looks at a range of issues relating to infectious disease and the impact of infections on the population. Relating to dementia, there is a section on ‘Infection and delirium and dementia in older patients’ that begins on page 46.
