“Thank You Day 2023” is on Sunday 2 July and will be a musical celebration of the contribution of family carers who do so much for people living with dementia. Well known singer Tony Christie has joined with charity Music for Dementia to launch the day, re-recording his song “Thank You for Being a Friend” as an anthem for the occasion. Musical events are due across the country on Thank You Day, including a community choir sing-a-long, care home performances by children’s choirs, live concerts and many more events organised by groups and members of the public.
