NHS England launch review to tackle LGBT health inequalities
NHS England has launched a review to tackle LGBT+ health inequalities.
The review is a first for NHS England and is being led by Dr Michael Brady, National Adviser for LGBT Health at NHS England. It will assess data and evidence from a range of research and clinical settings, and aims to understand barriers to accessing healthcare and the impact of LGBT+ health inequalities on outcomes and patient safety.
The final report and recommendations from the review will be presented to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care in December 2025.
