A nurse-led young onset dementia service in Northamptonshire will be highlighted in a webinar on 21 June. The younger persons with dementia team in the county will lead the webinar, which will show how what they describe as their unique model provides the continuity of support needed by people on the diagnostic pathway. Questions to be answered include: How is this service sustained? What are the essentials that make the service work for the families, the professionals and the local health and care system? What are the challenges and how are they overcome? Webinar leaders will be Jenny Kerti, community psychiatric nurse manager, with community psychiatric nurses Emma Green and Nina Picton, and occupational therapist Frances Hooper. Register here:
