NHS Talking Therapies Positive Practice Guide for Older People

The NHS Talking Therapies Positive Practice Guide for Older People (2024) has been published by the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists (BABCP), Age UK, the Mental Health Foundation and NHS Talking Therapies services. 

The guide is intended to be a resource for therapists who work with older people, and aims to address the diverse needs of older people in relation to their mental health and wellbeing. It includes information about dementia.
