Margaret-Anne founded the Tibbs Dementia Foundation in 2013 alongside Sarah Russell (CEO) and Jeni Melia (Music Therapist). The Foundation provides a range of accessible and flexible activities that focus on cognitive and physical stimulation. No referral or diagnosis is required and the timetable of Tibbs Dementia Foundation activities covers in-person sessions in Bedfordshire and on Zoom.

The Times Sternberg Award was created by Sir Sigmund Sternberg in partnership with The Times newspaper in 2008 and celebrates outstanding contributions of people to their community and public life after their 70thbirthday.

Margaret-Anne received her award at a reception at 11 Downing Street. Everyone at Dementia Community sends Margaret-Anne our congratulations on this very well-deserved recognition.
